It’s that time of year again where we start to say farewell to our Y11’s. Adventure Senior Students were invited to attend a House Breakfast to say ‘Thank You’ for their hard work and dedication to Adventure House over the last year. They have been an enthusiastic and independent group of students who have really grown and developed with the role and taken on all of the challenges that have been put their way, often initiating new ideas and responsibilities.
They have been involved in House duties at break and lunch; selling of equipment to ensure that all of our students are equipped and ready for learning; supporting tutors in form time and supporting students with numeracy and literacy tasks, running and leading assemblies; helping with whole school events such as Parents Evenings and Open Evenings. They are going to be a hard act to follow and we wish them all the best with their future.
Thank you to Mr Hutchinson for helping to organise the event and using his inner artist to create invites and certificates, and to Mrs Beadnall who made our glamorous ‘beverage’ lady for the morning.
We’re no longer here! We’re over at @OutwoodRedcar now!
