The Faraday challenge has been running for a number of years with a total of 47 schools taking part across the country. This year’s event was held at Nunthorpe Academy and 6 students had been chosen from our key STEM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths). The students were challenged to use their skills in the STEM subjects to design, develop and prototype a product and present to a panel of judges. Our students worked extremely hard and were rewarded with the trophy for first place.
The students; Cameron Greenwood, Luke Jones, Jade Abisetti, Holly Stephenson, Siobhan Miller and Megan Preston now have the chance to visit the IET headquarters in London with the chance to win £1000 for Redcar Academy.
Redcar Academy (now Outwood Academy Redcar) students, achieve phenomenal results again. - buff.ly/2xuWYJn
